–Summary: The article “Supporting Women Means Opposing Abortion” by Brain Hatchett shows the reasons why he is againt abortion. He also tell why he thinks people choose to have an abortion. The slaughter of the innocent, to the surprise of some, is not a modern-day news story. He found it extremely shocking that he stumbled across an ancient, seemingly “justifiable” form of murder in the Bible. Wade in 1973, legalized slaughter of the innocents began in the strongest, most powerful country in the world, one whose very foundation was built on the value and importance of human life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
–Commentary: I think that abortion should be illegal because it is murder. Doctors and research say that the life of a baby is present from the moment of conception. Which means if not for conception, then no stages of life, and therefore sonce the are stages it is murder of the baby any time after conception. In the Bible it states that “For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” So clearly we can see where God stands on this topic. Pro-choice and pro-life is another reason im againts abortion. Pro-choice because in that the innocent baby, if given the choice, would choose the natural instinct to live. Also, two people can choose to engage in an activity that might bring about the creation of a human life. Pro-life because after that choice has been made, the consequences of that decision should be accepted, just as they are with any decsion one makes in life.
–Analysis: This writer is from a college so i think he has enought experience and research to know what he is talking about. He was one of the 100,000 people that marched for life in Washington. He also shows that he is folliwing his religious beliefs. This author practically states that he is fully against abortion in any case.

–Summary: The article “Abortion” by Terry Lefler discusses the good and bad things about abortion, as well as the different viewpoints of several religions. Terry Lefler is just simply trying to educate readers of the opinions of others, such as the good and the bad from the pro-abortion stand. In the authors own opinion she says that after hearing “abortions is taking the lives of an unborn baby”. She also says “this taking of life can be a sin, if done for selfish reasons. It can also be innocent if done for the sake of mercy. The difference is the intentions of the heart.
–Commentary: I would have to agree with the author when she says “it’s like taking a life and can be selfish as well as innocent”. I disagree with abortion because of what the author said “it’s taking an innocent life and is a sin in certain reasons”. The selfish part comes in when you chooses to have sex knowing that you have a chance in becoming pregnant. There is also reason why they should allow abortions. Rape would be a case but that also can be questionable. A chance of death of the mother or the child can also be a reason for abortion.
–Analysis: I think the author knows what she is talking about because she has a personal history with abortion and regrets what she did. Now she studies about it today. She shows an example of pathos by providing the story of her personal experience. Later after Terry became a Christian she realized she committed a sin and it was wrong to do so she repented.
